BMW Championship and ISPS Handa World Invitational Golf Betting Tips

The penultimate FedEx Cup playoff event, the BMW Championship, is set to take place this week on the PGA Tour. The top 50 players will compete at Olympia Fields Country Club in Illinois, which is hosting the event for the first time since 2020. The top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings will qualify for the Tour Championship, so there will be plenty of excitement and thrills over the four days of action.

Meanwhile, the DP World Tour is back with the ISPS Handa World Invitational in Northern Ireland. This event will feature both men’s and women’s competitions taking place simultaneously. The tournament will be played using a two-course format, with players competing at Galgorm Castle and Castlerock. Cuts will be made at halfway and after 54 holes, with Galgorm Castle hosting the final two rounds.

In the BMW Championship, Patrick Cantlay is a strong contender for the outright win. He has won the last two editions of the tournament and has shown good form leading up to the event. Cantlay finished second last week at the St Jude Championship and leads in total driving this season. He also ranks highly in strokes gained off the tee and greens in regulation.

Collin Morikawa is another player to watch in the BMW Championship. He has been performing well recently, finishing 13th at TPC Southwind last week. Morikawa has struggled with his putting this season, but showed improvement in that area during the previous tournament. He excels in tee-to-green play and ranks highly in strokes gained categories for both approach and driving accuracy.

In the ISPS Handa World Invitational for men, Callum Hill is a top pick. He has performed well on this course in the past, winning the 2018 Northern Ireland Open and finishing seventh and 28th in subsequent visits. Hill has been putting fantastically this season and has shown accuracy in his game.

Darren Fichardt is another player to consider in the ISPS Handa World Invitational for men. With accuracy being important this week, Fichardt’s driving accuracy ranking of 20th on the DP World Tour could give him an advantage.

In the women’s draw of the ISPS Handa World Invitational, Emily Kristine Pedersen is a strong contender. She tied for fourth in the tournament last year and has shown solid form, finishing T30 at the British Open. Pedersen ranks highly in greens in regulation and driving distance.

Yu Liu is another player to watch in the women’s competition. She tied for 11th in the tournament previously and has been consistent in her performances.

These are the top picks for the upcoming BMW Championship and ISPS Handa World Invitational, providing some guidance for betters.
