Realme is set to launch the Realme 11 5G in India on August 23. This 5G-enabled phone is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000, making it a strong competitor to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 5G series, as well as several Samsung and Motorola phones.

The Realme 11 5G comes with several impressive features that are aimed at attracting young smartphone users, especially students who desire 5G internet speeds without compromising on display or charging technology. Some of the key specifications include a 108-megapixel primary camera, a flat-edge design reminiscent of the iPhone 12, 67W charging, and of course, 5G connectivity.

Based on the official poster and revealed specifications, it is evident that the Indian version of the Realme 11 5G will be similar to the Taiwan version, which was launched earlier this month. The phone boasts a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 680 nits peak brightness. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chip. The rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel portrait lens, offering features like auto-zoom, super night scene, and 108MP high-resolution mode. The front panel houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Other notable features of the Realme 11 5G include a dual 5G SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. The phone is expected to be competitively priced in India, and there may be a 128GB variant available to cater to different storage needs. In Taiwan, the phone was launched with a sole 256GB storage option for TWD 8,990.

Realme is also preparing to compete with the Redmi 12 5G and Samsung Galaxy M14 5G in the Rs 15,000 smartphone category. The company is rumored to be working on a variant called the Realme 11X, which will have similar features to the Realme 11 5G, with potential modifications to keep the price low. The Realme 11X is expected to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera and a lower charging speed of 33W.
