OneWeb Technologies Awarded U.S. Space Force Contract for Commercial Satellite Communications Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (p-LEO)

OneWeb Technologies has been awarded a 10-year Commercial Satellite Communications Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (p-LEO) contract from the U.S. Space Force (USSF). The contract, with a ceiling of 0 million, solidifies OneWeb Technologies’ position as a trusted government solutions partner and a leading provider of low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite services.

The U.S. Department of Defense manages the use of commercial satellite communications (COMSATCOM) bandwidth through the Space Systems Command’s Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO). The CSCO matches the needs of various military organizations and DoD customers with COMSATCOM bandwidth and services.

OneWeb Technologies is one of the few LEO satellite solutions providers chosen to receive the p-LEO contract and one of only two very small aperture terminal (VSAT) data LEO satellite service providers currently offering live services. This achievement highlights the company’s COMSATCOM capabilities and technology offering for the U.S. government.

“OneWeb Technologies aims to simplify satellite communications for enterprise and government users by moving their data more rapidly, reliably, and securely,” said Kevin Steen, CEO of OneWeb Technologies. Their solutions utilize the powerful OneWeb constellation, equipment, partnerships, and services to meet the secure global communications needs of the U.S. Space Force.

In addition to becoming a prime p-LEO award contractor, OneWeb Technologies is well-positioned to collaborate with other GEO operators that may also receive a p-LEO contract. The company is committed to transforming the communications landscape, providing connectivity, data security, velocity, and surety solutions that meet the evolving needs of government and enterprise users.

OneWeb Technologies operates from its fully manned, 24/7 Managed Services Operations Center in Houston, Texas. They offer Committed Information Rates (CIR) and traffic prioritization through a secure Global Access Network (GAN). OneWeb Technologies takes a consultative and adaptable approach to provide resilient mobile solutions to its customers.

OneWeb Technologies is excited to support the U.S. Space Force and looks forward to leveraging their technology to deliver accurate and timely information to decision-makers in the government and their allies.
