Billionaires’ Satellite Lights Seen in St. Louis Sky

Several reports were received on Thursday night regarding a string of lights flying across the St. Louis Metro area. Witnesses described the lights as silent and moving in an east to west direction. The description and movement of these lights seem to match the Starlink Satellites, a project of SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk.

A Starlink tracker has confirmed that one of their satellites passed over the St. Louis area at 9:04 p.m. on Thursday. These satellites are part of SpaceX’s plan to provide global broadband coverage from space.

If you missed the sight on Thursday, you will have another chance to see the Starlink Satellites on Friday at 9:07 p.m. and on Saturday at 9:08 p.m. Keep an eye out for a string of lights moving across the sky.

The Starlink project aims to launch thousands of satellites into low Earth orbit to create a network for high-speed internet access globally. These satellites are visible from the ground, particularly during the initial stages when they are more closely grouped together. They appear as a string of lights traveling in a straight line.
