Djezzy GSM

Djezzy GSM is Algeria's principal mobile network operator. It was founded on 11 July 2001 and officialy launched on February 15, 2002. It acquired Algeria's second GSM license with a bid of 7 million. Its market covers 90% of the population. Djezzy is a subsidiary of the Egyptian company Global Telecom Holding. It has two competitors: the government-owned Algeria Mobile Network and the privately-owned Ooredero Algeria.
